Playing guitars for over 40 years
I play many stringed instruments, including banjo,
fiddle, bass guitar, fiddle, pedal steel guitar and
mandolin.
Worked as a road musician for 12 years out of
Nashville with many different bands, traveling across
the United Stated and Canada.
Started playing the ukulele with family at church at the
age of three.
Studied guitar with Johnny Smith in Colorado Springs
for quite some time who was RCA's top recording
guitarist of the forties and fifties.
Play many Styles of guitar and teach each student
with personalized lessons.
Played in Polka Bands, Top 40 bands, Country
bands, Horn bands and Jazz Bands.

I love to see my students progress as musicians and
maybe I'll learn something along the way.

She has had a wide variety of teachers who have
really given her a love for the piano.
Enjoys playing the organ, which she often has the
chance to do for church services.
In addition to being a teacher, she is currently a
student at Bethany Lutheran College and is majoring
in music.

Hi! I'm Christina and I'm a piano teacher here at
Scheitel'sMusic. Currently, I'm working on a B.A. in Music at
Bethany Lutheran College. After college, I hope to use my
music degree by continuing to teach private piano lessons.

Ryan Rader
Drums: Beginners to Advanced

15 years drums and percussion experience, 6years
teaching experience.
Numerous performances from solo recitals to large
ensembles, basements and performance halls and
arenas.
Bachelor of music in Percussion Performance
Former student of: Tedd Gullickson, Rob Haldorson,
Charlie Draper, Dr. Rick Orpen, Gordy Knudtson, and
Leigh Howard Stevens.

Julie Sweet studied piano at Minnesota State University,
Mankato, where she received Bachelor and Master's degrees
in Piano Performance. Her instructors have included Ann
Nadeau Britton and David Viscoli. In addition, she undertook
formal study in composition with David Dickau. She is a
recipient of numerous awards including the MTNA Student
Recognition (STAR) award and Toy Wilson Blethen Fine Arts
Award at MSU and was a participant in the MMTA State
Honors concert in 1993, 1995 and 1996. She has been
playing piano for nearly 25 years and has 8 years in teaching
experience. Other professional endeavors include,
accompanying vocalists and instrumentalists at Gustavus
Adolphus College and MSU and performing solo and chamber
music recitals.
