Frank Mullen

Guitar Specialist • Technician • Sales Manager

With 10+ years in sales, customer service, and technical service, Frank Mullen has been solid member of our team since 2005. Frank was born and raised in Waseca, MN in a musical family. He played piano and saxophone as a child. When he was 14 years of age, Frank joined his dad and uncle’s classic rock & roll band playing electric guitar, and has continued with them for 16 years. For the last 3 years he has also been playing guitar and bass, and singing in an acoustic/electric band with his dad, uncle, and sister. He also plays guitar at church, and has played in and out of several other bands and projects over the years. Occasionally he will run sound, if the ingredients are right.

Frank currently resides with his wife Sarah and first child in Garden City, MN.

Johnny Foderick

Sound & Lighting Specialist • Live Sound Engineer • Technician

John has previously worked for music stores in St. Cloud and Brainerd and has now been a part of the Scheitel's Music family since September of 2003. His love for music extends to all branches of the art, including brass, bass and percussion, and can also be found hauling around his own sound system all throughout the Midwest.

John currently heads our installation department. He specializes in custom cable creation, large format sound system design, intelligent light programming and power distribution. John focuses on touring systems, houses of worship, theaters, high schools and sports fields.

John has personally installed everything from giant church sound systems to creative in-your-face dance club lighting systems and is always looking for a new challenge. No matter what your technical question, Johnny has an answer! He's here to get your sound solution running professionally and efficiently with new, exciting, and innovative ideas.

Nathan Stone

Piano/Keyboard, Drum, & Recording Specialist • Piano Tuning & Repair • Technician

Nathan Rodes Stone grew up in Plymouth, MN. He started pounding on his Uncle Jerry’s drum set with the family polka band in early grade school. His formal music training began in 6th grade on the Saxophone. Stone was introduced to Rock n’ Roll in 7th grade when he went on a road trip to a music festival in Michigan with his Great Uncle Rodes. From there, he began teaching himself guitar. He began experimenting with rudimentary recording techniques when he was 14. Stone purchased his first ProTools recording system a few years later.

After high school he attended Minnesota State University, Mankato. He graduated with a degree in Mass Communications and a minor in Music in 2008. During his sophomore year of college he began playing solo acoustic shows under the stage name Jerry Rodes. This was the same year he started working at Scheitel’s. After college, Stone moved to Boulder, CO to intern for The Highway Girl, an online educational music show. He moved back to Minnesota at the end of the summer and began recording his debut album, The World Needs a Hero. He reconnected with Justin Tollefson, former employee of Scheitel’s Music, and Johnathan
Moeller, guitar player. The three played trio acoustic shows until Eric Zimmerman joined the band to play bass. They are playing under the name Jerry Rodes and The Guys and currently working on their new album yet to be titled.

Stone currently lives in Mankato where he owns his own piano tuning company, Rodes’ Piano Tuning.

ROGER MURPHY

Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin Specialist

Roger grew up in Ohio and Tennesse. He started playing the Ukulele at the age of 3 and eventually began guitar at the age of 8. He has played many string instruments throughout his life and worked on the road with several bands traveling throughout the US and Canada.

Roger has been teaching at Scheitel's for years, but he started working as an employee in the beginning of 2011.

He has a DJ and Karaoke Business that keeps him busy. He plays many styles of music and enjoys all kinds of music.
